Are you one of the 70% of adults who wish they had learned to play an instrument?  Is your old high school flute or oboe is sitting in a closet covered with a thick layer of dust? It's not too late for playing music to be a rich part of your life.

(However, don't even THINK about using that ancient reed in the oboe case, the one that sounded beautiful when you last played it all through your senior year in high school!  I'll be happy to set you up with a new, easy-to-play reed.}

If you've never played a note and can't even read music, the recorder is a budget-friendly way to give music-making a try, no matter where you are on life's journey.

What about practicing? Yes, our lives are busy and complicated. But if you can manage two or three mindful sessions of 20 minutes each week, you can make real progress. Practicing isn't a burden; it's a time to focus on an activity for your own enjoyment.

You're making music for you!
